WyeSoft Banstick

WyeSoft Banstick is a set of programs that can be run alongside several games, adding hotkey-activated macros which allow you to kick or ban players from your server very quickly, without the need to minimize the game or remember any complicated console commands. WyeSoft Banstick can be used with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War and any game that uses the Half-Life engine or the Source engine (e.g. Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead, Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2, Zombie Panic, Age of Chivalry).

WyeSoft Banstick was created using AutoHotkey, a free macro recording/scripting utility, which we highly recommend to anyone that likes to automate tasks on their computer.

If "`" is the console key on your keyboard then you can use the UK keyboard versions.
If "~" is the console key on your keyboard then you can use the US keyboard versions.
For any other keyboard you will need to configure the game to use F10 as the console key and then use the F10-console versions.

Usage
-----
Launch the appropriate file to enable the WyeSoft Banstick hotkeys and then launch your game.

You have a choice of logging into the rcon manually each time you play the game (if you are worried about hackers stealing the password from your computer) or saving the rcon password so that you are logged in automatically when you use one of the kick/ban macros (or when you press BACKSPACE).  To log in manually press SHIFT + BACKSPACE and then enter the rcon password. To set up auto-login (for the game you are playing only) press CTRL + BACKSPACE and then enter the rcon password.  To disable auto-login and erase the saved rcon password press ALT + BACKSPACE and then hit RETURN to confirm.

Once you have logged in or set up auto-login, all you have to do to kick someone from your server is press F11 and enter their name or, if their name is too complicated to type, press F12 and enter their player ID (the numbers down the far left-hand side of the table that appears when you press F12).  To temporarily ban a player use SHIFT + F11 (CoD only) or SHIFT + F12, and to permanently ban a player use CTRL + F11 (CoD only) or CTRL + F12.  In Call of Duty, to permanently ban a player's GUID and IP with PunkBuster, use ALT + F12.  The list that appears when you use one of the F12 macros will look different depending on which game you are playing (and whether it's a normal kick/ban or a PunkBuster ban) but the numbers you need will always be down the far left-hand side.

When you've finished playing the game you can close WyeSoft Banstick by right-clicking on the tray icon and clicking "Exit".
